From a fixed payment terminal at the counter to SoftPOS on your smartphone and a reliable checkout for your online store: OmEs pay brings all your payment flows together. We provide a solution that works seamlessly, is set up correctly, and continues to be supported when it matters most.

Tailored Advice

We start with your industry, transaction volume, workplace, and existing software—not with a standard package.

Installed quickly

We'll handle the practical setup and help your team get up and running with the solution right away.

Point of Sale and Payment Combined

Where technically possible, your cash register and payment terminal automatically transmit transaction amounts, giving you a better overview.

7/7 technical support

A reliable payment solution is essential even outside of regular business hours. That’s why technical support is available every day.

One payment strategy, three ways to get paid

Customers no longer pay at a single, fixed location. They pay at the counter, at their table, on-site, via a payment request, or directly in an online store. Your payment solution needs to adapt to this reality without unnecessarily complicating your bookkeeping.

OmEs pay helps you choose the right combination for your needs. Sometimes a single mobile terminal is all you need. In other cases, the best setup is a fixed POS system supplemented with SoftPOS and online payments. We look at what you’re using today, what you need, and what you’d like to add in the future.

Payment Terminals

Choose a fixed, mobile, or POS-connected terminal based on where your customers make payments, your preferred connectivity, and how your team uses it. OmEs pay works with certified CCV terminals, among other options, and can recommend which device best suits your daily operations.

  • Fixed terminals and PIN pads for a counter or point of sale
  • Mobile devices for indoor use, patios, delivery, markets, or events
  • Point-of-sale integration for automatic amount transfer
  • Buy or rent, depending on usage and terms

SoftPOS

With SoftPOS, a compatible smartphone with NFC becomes an additional contactless payment terminal. This can be useful for mobile service providers, temporary points of sale, peak times, or as a backup. The supported devices and payment methods depend on the chosen payment partner.

E-commerce and payment links

For online sales, familiar payment methods and a clear checkout process build trust. Even without a full-fledged online store, a payment link can be useful for accepting digital payments for reservations, deposits, orders, or outstanding balances.

The total cost

It's not just the price per transaction that matters

A low transaction fee sounds appealing, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. The rental or purchase price of your device, subscription fees, installation, connectivity, service, cancellation terms, card types, and payment terms also play a role in determining what you ultimately pay.

That’s why we at OmEs pay look at the big picture. For example, a plan that’s cost-effective when you have few transactions may become less attractive as your payment volume increases.

Thanks to our partnerships with various payment providers and acquirers, we can find a solution that fits your business, your payment volume, and the type of transactions you process. The exact rates and payout schedules always depend on the partner you choose and the terms of your agreement.

What We're Looking at Together

Offering electronic payment options is mandatory; you choose how to implement it

As of July 1, 2022, Belgian businesses that sell to consumers must offer at least one electronic payment method. This can be a payment terminal, a contactless smartphone solution, a bank transfer, or another suitable electronic method. Cash also remains legal tender, and electronic payments may not be refused for amounts below a minimum threshold.

The legally required minimum solution is not necessarily the best business solution. Your choice should also align with what customers expect, how quickly you want to process payments, and how much follow-up you want to avoid afterward.

From one-off payments to an integrated workflow

When the POS system sends the amount directly to the payment terminal, your employee doesn’t have to re-enter anything. This reduces the risk of typing errors and makes it easier to cross-check sales and payment data. The exact integration method depends on the POS system, the terminal model, and the payment partner.

Integration can also make a difference online. A plugin or API can send the payment status back to your online store or application, so that an order is processed as paid only after the provider confirms it.

Why Entrepreneurs Choose OmEs Pay

At OmEs pay, you won’t be passed around anonymously from one supplier to another. We look at the entire chain: payment contract, device, POS integration, installation, and support. This means you’ll have a single point of contact who is familiar with your file and your setup.

Our approach is personalized and technically sound. We clearly explain what is and isn’t necessary, install the chosen solution, and remain available while your business is up and running. Technical support is available daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; administrative support is available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This is how we find the right payment solution

01

We'll map out your operations

Where are payments accepted, how many payment terminals are there, what types of cards are accepted, and what software are you already using?

02

We're comparing the options

We view terminals, SoftPOS, e-commerce, and the appropriate payment partner as a single, integrated whole.

03

We install and configure

Your solution will be implemented, tested, and explained to the people who will be using it.

04

We'll remain available

After installation, you can count on personalized support—remotely and, when necessary, on-site.

Are you paying too much right now, or is your setup too cumbersome?

Get a no-obligation analysis of your current payment solution. OmEs pay compares not only rates, but also ease of use, integrations, support, and growth opportunities. That way, you’ll know which solution is the best fit for your business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which payment solution is right for my business?

That depends on where you sell, how many transactions you process, which payment methods your customers use, and whether you want to integrate a point-of-sale system or an online store. A fixed terminal is often suitable for a counter, a mobile terminal for on-site service, and SoftPOS for additional or temporary mobile use. OmEs pay will assess the best customized combination for you.

As of July 1, 2022, any business that deals with consumers must offer at least one electronic payment method. This also applies to independent professionals and small business owners. In principle, cash must also continue to be accepted, and you may not charge a surcharge or require a minimum amount for electronic payments.

Both options are possible, depending on the device and the provider you choose. Buying may be a good option if you plan to use the hardware for a longer period of time; renting spreads out the cost and may include service or replacement. Always compare the total cost of the contract and the terms and conditions, not just the monthly payment.

That depends on the payment partner and the contract. Many setups support Bancontact, major debit and credit cards, and contactless wallets. Meal vouchers, eco-vouchers, or specific international cards must be checked individually and activated where available.

The payout timeframe varies by acquirer, bank, payment method, and contract. In many cases, payouts are processed quickly and often on the next business day, but this is not a universal guarantee. OmEs pay specifies the exact timeframe in the proposal.

That’s often the case, but not every combination is automatically compatible. For example, the connection can be established via a certified local interface or through the cloud. OmEs pay checks the point-of-sale system, terminal model, and protocol before suggesting a configuration.

For some business owners, yes; for others, mainly as an additional payment option or backup. SoftPOS accepts contactless payments on a compatible smartphone. A traditional terminal may be more suitable if you need a separate printer, very heavy usage, a fixed integration with your POS system, or specific card applications.

Yes. With a payment link, you can direct a customer to a secure payment page via email, text message, QR code, or any other channel supported by the provider. This is useful for advance payments, reservations, orders, and outstanding balances.

That depends on the completeness of your file, the identity verification process, the device, and the chosen partner. Some activations can be completed quickly, but complex integrations or missing documents require more time. OmEs pay provides a realistic timeline after the initial assessment.

OmEs pay offers technical support seven days a week, daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Many issues can be diagnosed remotely. If that is not sufficient and the situation requires it, we will determine what type of repair or replacement is possible under your plan.
